HOW DO I KNOW IF THE PROBLEM WARRANTS COUNSELING?
If symptoms are persistent, or if they are interfering with daily life, it is time to seek counseling. We are happy to discuss your specific scenario over the phone and provide you with next steps.
WHAT DO I DO IF I THINK MY ADOLESCENT NEEDS THERAPY BUT THEY REFUSE?
Call anyway. We can usually help you get your child through the door.
HOW MUCH DOES COUNSELING COST?
Therapy costs $300 per 50-minute session. Reduced-fee slots are available from time-to-time so if you’re worried about cost, call anyway. Even if one of us doesn’t happen to have a reduced-fee slot, we’ll still provide you quality referrals.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
We do not accept insurance. This is because insurance often places limitations on treatment that are not necessarily beneficial to you or your child. If you have a PPO insurance plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement, please contact your insurance company for details.
HOW LONG WILL MY CHILD NEED TO ATTEND THERAPY?
This depends on the issue. It often ranges from a couple of months to a year or more.
HOW INVOLVED SHOULD I BE IN MY CHILD'S COUNSELING?
You have a very important role in your child's counseling. Results are quicker if you work to make suggested changes as well. This helps to reinforce what is being done in therapy.

Mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays. Weekend appointments are available; please call for availability.
